2016 Chevrolet Silverado Gets a Facelift
The new 2016 Chevrolet Silverado has received a significant facelift, adding more to its already strong appeal. The new look is very modern and cuts back slightly on the chrome features from the model’s past design.
Sandor Piszar, marketing director for Chevy trucks, said, “The redesigned 2016 Silverado will build on Chevy Trucks’ legacy of dependability. It will feature a more muscular appearance and offers new customer-focused technologies.”
The most notable changes are seen on the front end. Chevrolet designers added a body-colored strip across the grille, a more sculpted hood, and they switched to a single-headlight design with more dramatic LED running lamp elements.
The customer-focused technologies Piszar mentioned come in the form of an updated MyLink system that is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible. In addition, the Silverado will have an eight-speed automatic transmission option for the new year.
