Fun Spring Break Road Trips
It’s that time of year… spring break! Whether you’re celebrating the end of the school season or just need a break, you’ll want to do a little rest and relaxation. Here are some fun spring break road trips you can take.
Blue Ridge Parkway
This 469-mile route from Virginia to North Carolina is perfect if you love hiking and gorgeous views. It runs to the top of the Appalachian Mountains and will take you into the treetops of the Linn Cove Viaduct.
No, not the ghosts. The other kind of “spirits”. If you enjoy bourbon and whiskey, take a road trip to visit the best family-owned distilleries from Kentucky to Tennessee. Check out some of the stops you can make here as well as suggested routes.
Down to the Bayou
Take a road trip down to the Louisiana bayou, where you can enjoy everything from southern cooking to soul-fueled music. You can also enjoy the sights of the large, beautiful cypress trees and the idyllic Spanish moss.
If you’re near Tennessee, take a road trip to visit the music-filled cities of Nashville and Memphis. You can stop for country music in Nashville, and then head to the home of the blues, and the King, in Memphis.
If you need a new vehicle for your road trips, then you can always come down to Wayne Thomas Chevrolet.
