Seagrove Artist Colony
This town has a unique history, considering that a variety of potters settled here sometime around the late 18th century. Word traveled through the pottery community, and sure enough, artistry soon became the local “thing.”

A recognizable landmark in NC, Pilot Mountain is a member of the Suaratown chain of mountains and an excellent spot for hiking enthusiasts. If you follow the Ledge Spring Trail, you’ll find natural rock climbing.
