New 4500HD and 5500HD Silverado Revealed
Chevy truck lovers, it’s time to get excited. On January 8, Chevrolet confirmed that its all-new Silverado 4500HD and 5500HD will be fully unveiled at The Work Truck Show® 2018 in Indianapolis. The show takes place from March 6-9, so we don’t have too much longer to wait. The show is North America’s largest work truck event and is expected to draw more than 11,000 guests. With the announcement, Chevy released a stirring picture of a shadowed truck, and it certainly looks formidable and strong.

Further technical specifications will be revealed at the truck’s release in March, but we have a very general outline of the truck’s offerings.
They will be available with 2WD and 4WD capability and in regular and crew cab models, so you can pick the model that best suits your needs. These formidable trucks will be powered by Duramax diesel engines, which have proven themselves time and time again when paired with an incredibly capable Allison transmission. The trucks will also be equipped with various state-of-the-art technologies, including driver connectivity systems, a smart infotainment system, and an array of advanced safety features.
