The Most Stealthy Vehicle at SEMA
Out of all the Franken-trucks and monstrous SUVs to grace the stage at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, few looked like plausible, street-and-off-road-worthy vehicles. One in particular stood out – if you could spot it.
The new Chevy Silverado Special Ops concept was by far the most stealthy vehicle at SEMA, and perhaps the coolest as well. The Silverado Special Ops features naval-inspired design, like its 3-toned “Razzle Dazzle” finish, originally meant to disguise a passing ship’s speed, direction, and general shape to the enemy.
But we don’t call it the most stealthy vehicle at SEMA just because of its cool camo paint. The Silverado Special Ops concept truck also features minimalist utility elements that make it rough-and-ready, just like a true Special Ops squad. From its subtle GearOn storage chamber to its custom rocker guards, everything about this truck says dangerous (unless you happen to be the driver – then it says indestructible).
